2. Who is Eligible for Visian ICL?

You must be between the ages of 21 and 45, cannot be pregnant or allergic to any of the medications used during Visian ICL eye surgery. You cannot suffer from chronic dry eye or have thin corneas. Additionally, candidates for Visian ICL eye surgery must have acceptable endothelial cell density, sufficient anterior chamber depth and a consistent prescription for the last 12 months (with no change greater than 0.5D). Every case is different, but if you were to pay for Visian ICL out of pocket, the cost averages between $3,000 and $5,500 per eye. 4. Is ICL Surgery Painful?

You will be given a local anesthetic during the surgery to numb the area. Afterwards, most patients only report mild discomfort from itching, but most feel little to no “pain.”
