What to Expect Before Surgery

What to Expect During Surgery

Just before surgery, you will be administered local anesthetic drops to numb your eyes. You may also be given the option of taking a mild sedative prior to the procedure to help you relax. It takes about 15 minutes per eye from the time that you enter the operating room and until you come out.

What to Expect After Surgery

You can expect to rest for the remainder of the day and can often resume normal activities as soon as that same night.
